Chemicals are being found in certain parts of the water. Also, the beach's sand is sometimes polluted because people litter. |
You must have heard the term
"fall line". A fall line is divider between an elevated land (the Piedmont) and the coastal plain. The ocean looks like a warm, windy, never-ending patch of sea foam blue. The sand is soft, wet, and sometimes sharp because of seashells. People grow lots of crops because it is warm and sunny in the coast. Tides are important to the ocean. High tides are when waves are high, and low tides are when the ocean is calm. |
